Results - Accountability and Academic Performance

University Prep Value students apply and are supported through our “UP Process” and go on to be accepted to two- and four-year universities in California and around the country. Value Schools alumni have been accepted and are attending USC, UCLA, UC San Diego, Berkeley, Duke, Pepperdine and other CSU and UC Schools. 

University Acceptances

Our focus on academic excellence and our support for each student’s path to college are two powerful reasons why parents choose Value Schools. Despite having more English Learners and students below the poverty level than LAUSD schools, University Prep has had an impressive start:

• 99% of our seniors graduated in 2018 (more than 20% higher than the district);
• 86% of our graduates meet the admission requirements for UC and CSU schools (26% higher than the district) and were enrolled in four-year institutions!
